September 7-12, 2026

Check out what's new from the prior week:

Talkdesk Agent Workspace: Conversations

Priority Level on Conversations App: Agents can now see the priority level of Digital and Voice interactions directly within the Conversations panel, helping them address urgent interactions faster and helping supervisors maintain SLA performance.

Talkdesk Agent Workspace: Voicemails

  • Assign a Voicemail to a Queue: Users can now reassign a single voicemail directly to a queue instead of only to an individual agent, making it easy to re-route misrouted voicemails to the right team.
  • Bulk Voicemail Assignment: Users can now select multiple voicemails at once to assign them to a colleague or reassign them to a queue, speeding up backlog cleanup.

[Preview] Talkdesk Automation Flows

  • Time Trigger: Flows can now start automatically on a defined schedule (fixed time or repeating interval) instead of requiring a manual action or event, making recurring automations fully hands-off.
  • Wait Until: The Wait component can now pause a flow until a related event occurs or an external system sends an API request, giving builders more flexibility to sync flows with real-world conditions.

Talkdesk CX Cloud Platform

Visible App Names: Workspace navigation now displays each app's name, making it easier for users (especially those new to Talkdesk) to identify and switch between apps.

Talkdesk Digital Engagement

Talkdesk Explore

  • GDPR Status Report: Users can now track the status of their GDPR data-subject requests in a single report, including a consolidated status and an SLA Health indicator, so they can see at a glance whether a request is on track to meet its regulatory deadline.
  • Ring Groups Renamed to Queues: References to "Ring Group(s)" across Explore reports, dashboards, and the Explore API are being renamed to "Queue(s)" to keep terminology consistent with the rest of the platform.

Talkdesk Studio

  • Improved Filtering Manager: Users can now filter flows and modules by type, status, usage, save date, errors, and more, making it faster to find the right flow.
  • [Preview] Add New Node: Builders can now add nodes from the toolbar or from an existing node, in addition to the existing exit-based method, reducing the clicks needed to build a flow.

Talkdesk Workforce Management

  • Time-Off Automation Rules Per Time-Off Type: Automation rules for auto-approving time-off requests can now be configured independently for each time-off type, so policies like lead-time and blackout dates can differ by category instead of sharing one rule.
