Product Notice: Deprecation of Billing usage cost reports scheduled by Talkdesk [Effective Oct 13, 2025]

Summary: Recurring customer usage cost reports (previously configured and scheduled on Support Dashboard by Talkdesk Internal Teams on customer request) have been replaced with self-service reports. As a result, the ability to create recurring customer usage cost reports via Support Dashboard will be deprecated. 

Impacted customers: Direct customers who are receiving email billing cost reports scheduled by Talkdesk Internal Teams.

What is changing and why

Usage cost reports that were previously scheduled by Talkdesk Internal Teams, on customer request, will no longer be sent to customers’ email addresses beginning October 13, 2025. Instead, customers may use self-service cost reports from Talkdesk. See how here.

Impact

  • The self-service reports have more information available and some field changes when compared to the scheduled reports, so we recommend customers prepare for the change to guarantee there are no downstream impacts in post-processing they might have in place.

Action required

  • Customers must start using self-service cost reports that include more information than the scheduled ones.
  • A scheduling functionality is available for the self-service reports in Explore, so customers can create and manage their own scheduled Billing Reports.

Time and Duration

  • From October 13, 2025, previously scheduled customer usage cost reports emailed via Support Dashboard will no longer be sent to customers.
