Configuring a Custom Studio Flow Error Report

With Explore Custom Create you can build a custom report that only displays details for Studio steps that encountered an error. This can reduce troubleshooting time and effort for your Administrators. To do so, follow these steps.

  • Navigate to Talkdesk Explore, then select Create followed by Report.
  • In the Select dataset menu, select Studio Flow Execution. 
  • In the sidebar, select the following dimensions:
    • Component Title 
    • Executed Step Name 
    • Flow Definition Name 
    • Studio Flow Execution Exit Name 
    • Studio Flow Execution Interaction ID 
  • Locate the Exit Name field and select Filter by field.
  • Now, configure your Report filters: 
    • Set the required Date filter to the desired reporting period.
    • The Timezone filter will default to Account Timezone. No change is required. 
    • Set the Exit Name filter to contain “error”.
  • Save your report.
  • Configure and save your desired report schedule

Note: Creation of a custom report using this dataset requires access to Custom Reporting with Live & Explore

 

Best Practices 

Configure your Error Monitoring report to run at the highest frequency (every 30 minutes) and use conditions to send the report only if errors are found. This will ensure that you are only notified of the most recent & relevant information.
