What is Changing and Why
Talkdesk is introducing a redesigned Talkdesk Studio™ editor as the first phase of an initiative to improve the Studio experience. Built based on customer feedback, the redesigned editor features a refreshed interface that makes building and managing flows faster, more intuitive, and more streamlined.
The redesigned editor is progressively being made available in Preview for all customers and can be enabled or disabled at any time using the Preview toggle. On October 9, 2026, the toggle will be progressively removed for all customers, and the current experience will be fully replaced with the new Studio experience.
The new experience introduces:
- Redesigning Nodes and Exits: Nodes will display the component type and node name directly on the canvas, with the ability to collapse configured exits. This reduces visual clutter and makes it easier to navigate and manage complex flows.
- Minimap: A new interactive minimap located in the bottom-right corner provides a high-level view of the entire flow, allowing users to quickly jump to specific sections without manual scrolling.
- Improved Connection Management: Exits are grouped using updated connector behavior, making logic paths easier to follow and improving overall legibility in complex flows.
Impact
The changes affect all customers using Talkdesk Studio. Existing flows, configurations, and permissions remain unchanged. No action is required from customers.
Customers who wish to explore the new experience and its latest features can do so by activating the existing toggle in the bottom-right corner of Studio Canvas.
Time and Duration
The redesigned Talkdesk Studio editor experience will be generally available through a progressive rollout starting on October 9, 2026.
