Customers with firewall access restrictions must update their configurations to avoid compromising front-end troubleshooting from Talkdesk Support services. Any future updates to required firewall domains will be communicated through release notes for Administrators and reflected in the Network setup: firewall configurations article.
Impacted customers: Customers with firewall restrictions using LogRocket.
LogRocket library update
On March 7, 2025, Talkdesk will upgrade to the latest version of the LogRocket library to enhance our ability to quickly identify and resolve conflicts, optimize performance, and improve the overall usability of our web applications. This change primarily affects backend configurations and network access rather than the functionality or performance of Talkdesk applications.
Customers using LogRocket for troubleshooting who already have in their access list the following domains *.logrocket.com, logrocket.com, *.logrocket.io, cdn.logrocket.io, need to update their firewall access restrictions by adding new URLs: *.lrkt-in.com, cdn.lrkt-in.com and r.lrkt-in.com.
Note that the wildcard specified by a “*” (asterisk) on *.lrkt-in.com might not work for all customers due to predefined firewall rules; in such cases, adding the subdomains cdn.lrkt-in.com and r.lrkt-in.com will be sufficient.
If no action is taken, the product experience will remain unaffected; however, customers may compromise frontend troubleshooting from Talkdesk Support services.
This only applies to customers who already have LogRocket domains in their access list, all the other customers remain unaffected, no action is required.
Stay informed on firewall configuration updates
Talkdesk’s customers must configure their firewalls and network security devices to allow access to a prescribed set of domains, IP addresses, and ports. These configurations are essential for Talkdesk to operate effectively, providing uninterrupted service and observability.
The set of required domains may change over time and all customers with firewall restrictions must regularly update their firewall settings via URLs allowlist.
Any future updates to the set of required firewall domains will be:
- Communicated through release notes for Administrators;
- Reflected in the Network Setup: Firewall Configurations article;
- Reminded via the Weekly Digest which summarizes the latest release notes and notices to subscribed Administrators. This helps to keep track of any changes including updates to firewall configurations.
