November 11, 2024

On Monday, November 11th, 2024, we will release the following enhancements in AI Launchpad.

Enhancements:

  • New Languages for Copilot, CX Sensors, and Service Cloud Voice: We have added more supported speech-to-text languages for Talkdesk Copilot, CX Sensors, and Talkdesk for Service Cloud Voice. The new available languages aim to provide clarity on the exact Chinese dialect and are the following:
      • Basque, Chinese (Wu, Simplified), Chinese (Cantonese, Simplified), Chinese (Cantonese, Traditional), Chinese (Jilu Mandarin, Simplified), Chinese (Southwestern Mandarin, Simplified), English (Ireland), English (South Africa), Galician.

October 22, 2024

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, we’ll release a new feature in the Talkdesk Roles & Permissions - Admin section, enhancing AI Launchpad management:


New:

  • AI Launchpad Permissions: A new slot in the Admin section for AI Launchpad now allows users to set specific permissions for Connectors (Models): “View” and “Configure”.
  • Automatic Permission Backfill: For users with an Admin role (and custom Admin, where possible), permissions will be backfilled automatically. This ensures that at least one power user per account can enable the addition of other users without needing Support or Product intervention.

Eligible Customers:

  • All accounts using Talkdesk Roles & Permissions in conjunction with AI Launchpad.

Important Note: Any account with access to AI Launchpad but featuring users with a custom role, will need to have an Administrator adding the new permission to their profile so that the access and user experience stays unaltered.

    • Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Slovak, Swiss German, and Vietnamese.
  • New Languages for Customer Experience Analytics: Additional speech-to-text languages are now supported for Talkdesk Customer Experience Analytics.

On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, we will release the following new feature in AI Launchpad.

New:

  • Configure Copilot Auto Summarization in AI Launchpad: Customers can now use AI Launchpad to configure their Copilots’ Automatic Summarization. This feature provides 100% self-service configuration, while providing full configuration flexibility. Configure your summarization models at either:
      • Product level: One configuration applicable to the entire set of Copilot interactions.
      • Flow level: Distinguish summarization behavior between different flows). 

Note: Please keep in mind that you must manually enable Automatic Summarization, as no accounts will have this mode on by default.

May 21, 2024

On Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, we will release the following enhancements in AI Launchpad.

Enhancements:

  • New speech-to-text languages supported: Romanian, Estonian or Finnish will now start powering products such as CXA, Copilot, CX Sensors or transcriptions within Salesforce Service Cloud Voice. This allows customers operating in these markets to offer our AI solutions and further improve customer experiences.

On Thursday, November 30th, 2023, we will release the following enhancements in AI Launchpad:

New:

  • Model access restriction by Team: When creating an intent model in AI Launchpad, users are now able to select which team should have access to it. 

Note: Only the selected teams will be able to see the model in AI Trainer.

 

Enhancements:

  • Preview Ring Groups or Agents in AI Flows: Users can now click on the segment tile of a specific AI flow to preview the ring groups and/or agents included in it. In the default flow, users can see all ring groups that were not explicitly added to other flows.
  • Simplified Default Flows: To avoid misinterpretations around default flows, we have removed the ability to edit the name and description of these flows. Default flows will always be displayed at the bottom of the flow list for each product (as these will be validated last and only applied when others don’t).

  • AI Launchpad replaces AI Settings: From now on, AI Launchpad should serve as the single point for AI models creation and management, both for Intent models and for Virtual Agents (now referred to as “Conversational Models” in AI Launchpad).

On Friday, December 16th, 2022, we will release AI Launchpad.

AI Launchpad is a one-stop shop for provisioning and configuring all AI-based products within Talkdesk. 

This application simplifies the configuration and maintenance process of the products by providing a seamless user experience while maintaining all the versatility by assisting the user along the way.

 

What’s included

  • Onboarding Cards: Each card displays the products you currently have installed, as well as access points to help you configure the different AI flows for each of the products.
    • Enabling Voice Transcriptions of Customer Interactions: Select the language(s) and add agents or groups of agents (Ring groups) for the selected language(s).
    • Adding AI Models to Each Language: Users are shown a product listing page with all the AI Models that can be matched to each language of choice. 
  • Default AI-Language Flow: The first language selected (or a different one if explicitly selected) is considered the default one. 
  • Tiers: All products installed in AI Launchpad have a corresponding tier. This tier is a reference so that the users understand which capabilities they are entitled to. 

 

How to Access

AI Launchpad is installed by default for all Talkdesk accounts with AI products enabled.
