Headset call controls not working

If your headset call controls are not working, there are several checks and steps you can take to ensure proper functionality. Call controls are currently supported only on Jabra devices, including compatible Bluetooth headsets connected via corresponding USB Bluetooth dongle (from Jabra).

Requirements:

  1. Ensure your headset is a Jabra device or a compatible Bluetooth headset.
  2. Make sure the necessary permissions are granted for the headset to interact with the application.
  3. Check that your headset is properly connected via USB or Bluetooth.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Verify the connection: Ensure the Jabra headset is connected correctly to your computer (USB or Bluetooth).
  2. Restart the application: Close and reopen the app to ensure it detects the headset properly.
  3. Check headset compatibility: Not all headsets support call controls. Confirm your model supports the features you need.
  4. Switching between wired and Bluetooth headsets: If you use a headset with both cable and Bluetooth, call controls do not automatically switch to the Bluetooth connection when you remove the cable. To enable call controls on the Bluetooth device, you must first grant permissions to the Bluetooth headset (connected via corresponding USB dongle, from Jabra).

Notes:

  • Call control functionality may vary depending on the headset model. Refer to the manufacturer’s specifications for which buttons perform each action (Answer, End, Reject, Mute, etc.).
  • Some headsets may require specific actions to reject a call, such as double-pressing the Accept Call button or holding it for a few seconds.
