Headset busy light not updating

If the busy light on your headset is not updating correctly, there are several steps you can take to ensure it functions as expected. Busy light functionality is currently supported only on certain Jabra headsets.

Requirements:

  1. Ensure your headset is a Jabra device or a compatible Bluetooth headset.
  2. Make sure the necessary permissions are granted for the headset to interact with the application.
  3. Ensure your headset supports the busy light feature. Not all models include this functionality.
  4. Make sure the headset firmware is up to date. Check the manufacturer’s site or use Jabra Direct to update if needed.
  5. Confirm the headset is properly connected and recognized by your computer.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Verify headset connection: Ensure the headset is correctly connected via USB or Bluetooth.
  2. Restart the application: Close and reopen the app to ensure it detects the headset correctly.
  3. Check permissions: Make sure the app has the necessary permissions to control the headset indicators.
  4. Update headset firmware: Use Jabra Direct or the manufacturer’s tool to ensure the headset has the latest firmware installed.

Notes:

  • Busy light functionality may vary depending on the headset model. Always consult the manufacturer’s specifications for the exact behavior.
  • If the headset is connected via a device that supports both cable and Bluetooth, ensure you have granted permissions to the active connection for the busy light to work.
