AI Agent Platform: Build - Skill (Integration)

The Integration skill allows Admins to connect their AI Agent Orchestration to external systems and services via API calls defined in the Talkdesk Integrations application.

By leveraging this skill type, AI Agents can retrieve, update, or send data to third-party systems as part of their Skills.

 

How It Works

  1. Define an API in Talkdesk Integrations: You can start by creating an integration in the Talkdesk Integrations application. You can define endpoints, authentication methods, parameters, and response mappings.

  1. Add a new Skill to an AI Agent: When designing an AI Agent, add a new skill and select the Integration section.
  2. Configure the Integration Skill:
    1. Select the previously created Connection and Action.
    2. Provide a Tool name: This name will be used to inform the AI Agent of the API
    3. Provide a Description: With the description, you can provide further detail on what the API will accomplish. This helps AI Agents identify when this API should be used.
    4. Select the appropriate values or variables for the Inputs of the API.
    5. Select the proper variables to receive the Outputs of the API.
