Check out what's new from the prior week:
Release Notes
Talkdesk Admin
- Teams App: Administrators have gained more control over permissions within the Teams app with the ability to define a role's scope by choosing between the options of All, Team, Child teams or Team + Child teams. This new functionality makes it easier to configure permissions, such as giving a Supervisor the ability to manage only their "Child Teams".
-
SCIM API: This is an industry-standard interface that simplifies and helps automate users' lifecycle management. It provides a consistent way to integrate Talkdesk with the customer’s identity provider (IdP) to create, update and remove users on Talkdesk. This release includes the following capabilities:
- Automate provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Standardize integrations.
Talkdesk Live
- The new available columns on the widgets will show Attributes, Attributes proficiency, User Attributes and correspondent User Proficiency.
- Live API now incorporates "Team Scope", meaning users will only be able to view and interact with ring groups directly assigned to their team.
- Restricted visibility now applies to Live Dashboards, Widgets, and Filtering Controls, ensuring all real-time data displays and interface elements are limited to data pertinent to the user's team.
Talkdesk Quality Management - QM Assist Evaluator
- The On-demand Autofill feature is now available for SMS, Chat, and Email channels. Similar to the existing capability for Voice, you can now complete evaluations for digital interactions with a single click.
Talkdesk Workforce Management
- The Import forecast feature supports importing external forecast data via CSV files, allowing Resource Planners to migrate legacy forecasts or integrate 3rd-party data seamlessly. The feature includes structured validation, error handling, and treats imported data as editable forecasts, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reporting workflows.
Talkdesk Workspace Desktop App
- The MSI installer was updated to run as a 64-bit application instead of 32-bit, to improve performance. Note: As stated in the documentation, when updating the MSI installer package, the previous version must be uninstalled before deploying the newer version.
- A bug from version 2.2.1 was also corrected, that forced dashboard links to open in the browser. Now, they'll correctly open in the desktop app, ensuring your downloads work as expected.
