Release Notes
Talkdesk Admin
- Phone number permissions management was updated. Administrators can now specify granular controls for access and permissions of the Talkdesk Numbers app.
- Navigation under the Permissions tab was reorganized (Admin app > Roles and Permissions > Select a role > Permissions tab > Edit), making it easier to locate and manage permissions.
Talkdesk Builder - Connections
- Now, Admins can configure a new authentication method for connections that supports Private Key JWT. Also, Admins are now able to configure additional authentication parameters to all OAuth2 Client Credentials authentication types variations supported by Connections. This feature allows defining parameters such as “audience” or “organization”.
Talkdesk Digital Engagement
- Talkdesk is expanding its MMS capabilities to enable multimedia messaging in Australia. This meets customer demands and aims to align Talkdesk’s messaging capabilities with global market needs.
Talkdesk Microsoft Dynamics 365 Connector
- Version 3.2.6 ensures compatibility with Customer Service Workspace (support to CIF 2.0). Talkdesk Embedded and other CTI features can now be used in Customer Service Workspace. Note that this will require additional steps to configure Channel Integration Framework 2.0.
Talkdesk Studio
- Users can now transfer the context between different Studio flows executed in the same interaction to provide a consistent and efficient employee and customer experience during transfers within the same interaction, without the need to repeat business logic to gather information.
Talkdesk Workforce Management
- The Agent Configuration has been enhanced for more flexibility by allowing break rules to be configured by day of the week. This will allow for different break rules to be applied to different days of the week, so WFM can be configured for unique situations and agent needs. This feature will be progressively rolled out over the coming weeks.
