This notice is relevant for customers using Talkdesk on macOS devices.
Customers may experience random call disconnects when using Talkdesk Conversations Voice after upgrading to macOS versions 15.0 or 15.0.1 (Sequoia), released on September 16, 2024, and October 3, 2024, respectively. The root cause appears to be related to network issues on these macOS versions.
Recommended action for macOS users:
- Postpone update: if you haven’t updated to macOS Sequoia 15, please delay until further notice.
- If already updated and cannot roll back to macOS Sonoma 14: update to macOS 15.1 or later, as we have observed improvements. However, full resolution of the issue still needs to be confirmed.
