In addition to the phone number, some landlines and office phones in the United States are able to display text as the caller ID.
To display a name, instead of a phone number, when making outbound calls, the number must be registered in a central database. In the United States, this database is CNAM. This is required to display your name when calling new devices that have CNAM database lookup enabled; if your number is saved to a device's local address book, you don’t need the CNAM registry.
To confirm if we can enable CNAM for your US phone number, please contact our Support Team here.
