Effective management of Voice Platform capabilities is critical to ensuring the organizational telephony fabric functions as intended. To ensure that core aspects of the telephony infrastructure are configured and managed properly, Talkdesk provides role-based access control across all Voice Evolution artifacts.
Permissions
Four distinct permissions are available for Voice Platform artifacts:
- View: Allows the role to view the artifact and its configuration.
- Create: Allows the role to create new artifacts.
- Edit: Allows the role to modify existing artifact configurations.
- Delete: Allows the role to delete artifacts.
System-Defined Roles
Talkdesk provides three system-defined roles:
- Admin
- Supervisor
- Agent

Note: Supervisors and Agents have no default access to Voice Platform configuration artifacts. All Voice Platform administration is handled by users with the Admin role.
