Overview
This article explains how Admins assign teams to Dispositions and Disposition Sets and configure scoped permissions for each role.
Note: Team Scoping applies only to organizations with a team hierarchy configured under Teams.
Assigning a Team to a Disposition or Disposition Set
- Log in to the Talkdesk account.
- Navigate to Admin [1] > Dispositions [2].
- Select the Disposition or Disposition Set to edit [3], or click Create[4] to create one.
- In the "Team" field [5], select one or more teams.
- Click Save [6].
Note: A Disposition or Disposition Set created by a user with an assigned team inherits that team by default. A Disposition or Disposition Set created by a user without a team is not assigned to any team by default.
Configuring Team-Scoped Permissions
- Navigate to Admin [1] > Roles & Permissions [2].
- Select the role to edit [3].
- Locate the Dispositions and Disposition Sets permissions area [4].
- For each permission (View, Update, Create), select a scope from the drop-down menu: "All", "Team", "Child Teams", or "Team + Child Teams" [5].
- Click Save [6].
Note: Apply the "Team + Child Teams" scope to Supervisors roles, so they retain visibility across their own team and every team below it in the hierarchy.
Verifying Team-Scoped Access
- Log in as a user assigned to the updated role.
- Navigate to Admin [1] > Dispositions [2].
- Confirm that only the Dispositions and Disposition Sets within the configured scope appear.
