Overview
Trigger Flow Management introduces a centralized management page to register, update, and remove Studio workflows that are selectable in the Campaign Manager’s Trigger Flow dropdown for Agentless Voice Campaigns. This eliminates manual configurations and ensures a single source of truth for flows used at campaign launch.
Why it's Important
- Simplifies operations by letting teams curate which Studio workflows are available to campaign managers.
- Reduces configuration errors and mismatches between Studio and Campaign Manager.
- Speeds up campaign setup with friendly, human-readable names visible in the Campaign Manager.
What’s included
- Add flows: Select an existing Studio workflow, assign a friendly name, and publish it to the Campaign Manager dropdown.
- Edit friendly names: Update friendly names and see changes reflected in the Campaign Manager immediately.
- Remove flows: Delete a registered flow to remove it from the Campaign Manager dropdown.
How it Works
- In Trigger Flow Management, click Add to select a Studio workflow.
- Assign a friendly name. The workflow becomes selectable in Campaign Manager.
- Edits to the friendly name are reflected in Campaign Manager.
- Deleting a flow removes it from the Campaign Manager dropdown.
Typical Use Cases
- Standardize which flows are allowed for production campaigns.
- Provide clear, non-technical names that campaign operators can understand.
- Clean up stale or deprecated flows so they are not accidentally used.
Configuration Steps
- Add a workflow: Trigger Flow Management → Add → Select Studio workflow → Set friendly name → Save.
- Update friendly name: Trigger Flow Management → Edit → Update friendly name → Save.
- Remove a workflow: Trigger Flow Management → Delete → Confirm.
Visibility and Permissions
- Trigger Flow Management is intended for Advanced Dialer users.
- Campaign operators in Campaign Manager can only select from the curated list and do not need edit access to Studio.
Dependencies
- Studio workflows must already exist and be healthy in Studio to be registered.
- The Campaign Manager must be on a version that reads the curated Trigger Flow list.
Limitations and Notes
- Deleting a flow removes it from selection for new campaigns. Existing campaigns already launched with that flow are not retroactively altered.
- Friendly name updates do not change the underlying Studio workflow logic, only how it appears in Campaign Manager.
Operator Guidance
- Prefer friendly names that reflect the customer journey and key logic, for example: “Payment Reminder v2” or “Post‑Purchase NPS”.
- Review the list quarterly to remove deprecated flows.
Validation Walkthrough
- Added a Studio workflow with a friendly name; it appeared in Campaign Manager.
- Updated the friendly name, verified that the Campaign Manager label updated.
- Deleted the configuration, verified it no longer appeared in Campaign Manager.
Support
- If a newly added flow does not appear, verify that the Studio workflow is available and refresh Campaign Manager.
- For persistent issues, capture timestamps and the Studio workflow ID and contact your Talkdesk representative.
