Currently, data synchronization processes can be enabled / disabled from:
From the Data Syncs List:
Note: For a better view of what’s available at this time regarding the Data Syncs app, please refer to this article.
From the Data Syncs list, you can manage all data sync processes currently configured in your account. Whenever a new integration is added to your account, if it has support for contact or agent synchronization, those will be listed automatically on the Data Sync list.
Changing the status on this screen will update the status displayed on the respective integration’s settings page.
In the case of contact synchronization processes:
- Each entry on the Data Sync list represents a synchronization process with one contact type. For example, the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Connector supports contact synchronization with contacts and leads, therefore 2 processes are listed, one for each contact type.
- At least one synchronization process with one contact type must be enabled to be considered that the integration has a contact synchronization active.
To access the Data Syncs list and manage the status of data syncs, please follow the steps below:
- Go to Talkdesk > Builder [1] > Data Syncs [2]. Data syncs are ordered by Integrations column alphabetically.
- On the Data Syncs list, the following information is available:
- Integration: Informs about for which integration the data sync is configured for
- Type: Indicates for which entity in Talkdesk the data sync process sends information to (this is, the destination) [3] and from which entity is fetching that information on the external system [4].
- Status: Displays whether the data sync process is enabled or disabled, and the Admin can directly control the status by switching the toggle.
- To change the status of a synchronization process, click on the status toggle [5].
From the Integrations Settings Page
From each integration’s settings page, you can enable or disable contact and agent synchronization processes (when applicable).
Changing the status on this screen will update the status displayed on the Data Syncs list.
- Go to Talkdesk > Builder [1] > Integrations [2] > My integrations, select an integration [3]. For the example, Dynamics 365 was selected.
- Open the Settings tab and click Edit. The following settings are available:
- Synchronize contacts: Enables contact synchronization process and requires that at least one contact type is selected [5]
- Contact Types: Defines the type of contacts that should be considered for the contact synchronization process [6]
- Synchronize agents: Enables agent synchronization process [7]
- Change the synchronization settings to enable or disable the processes and hit the Save button.
