How much does Talkdesk Express cost?

The price for Talkdesk Express is $25USD per user per month for named licenses. However, resellers can set their pricing for customers.

Note: Named licenses are assigned to specific individuals, allowing unique access, as opposed to concurrent licenses based on the number of users who can access the software simultaneously, with shared access among users.

 

How is AI usage price in Talkdesk Express?

AI capabilities are billed per interaction, based on the rates defined in the Talkdesk AI Usage Rate Card. Partners also receive an additional 5% discount on the published AI usage rates.

 

Is the Talkdesk Express trial mandatory?

Yes, Talkdesk Express has a mandatory 15-day free trial, allowing customers to explore its capabilities with a maximum of 10 users. During this trial period, customers will receive a pre-loaded nominal telecommunications credit $100USD, intended for deployment as TD Minutes. If a customer or reseller wants to end the trial early, they have two options: the customer can subscribe to Express directly through their account, or the reseller can activate the account anytime via the Support Dashboard.

 

Will any unused trial credits transfer to a paid account?

Yes. When a customer converts from trial to a paid subscription, any remaining portion of the $100 credit balance automatically carries over and can be used for communications (TD Minutes) and AI features.

 

How do customers transition from trial to active users?

During the 15-day trial of Talkdesk Express, end customers can transition to active paying users in two ways:

  1. Through the interface: End customers can click the "Click Here to Subscribe" button and accept the terms and conditions of the Talkdesk Master Subscription Agreement.
  2. Through resellers: Resellers can update the customer's status from trial to active using the support dashboard.

Is there a minimum commitment period for Talkdesk Express subscriptions?

No. Talkdesk Express subscriptions operate on a monthly basis, providing flexibility without a long-term commitment.

 

What happens to the instance after the trial period?

If no action is taken after the 15-day trial period, the instance enters a suspended mode and remains in such a state for an additional 90 days. During this time, end-users can opt-in and convert into paying customers through a fully automated process at the specified rate of $25USD per user per month. Unlike sandbox environments that reset at the end of a trial, the configurations and settings in Talkdesk Express remain intact, ensuring business continuity.

How is Talkdesk Express billed and invoiced?

Subscriptions are billed monthly in arrears and automatically renew unless canceled. Invoices are generated on the first day of each month, encompassing charges for the previous month, and payment terms are net-30 unless specified otherwise in the partner reseller agreement.

 

How can I access billings and invoices?

Resellers can access billing and invoice details through the Billing Insights API.

 

Can I customize Talkdesk Express invoices?

Invoices are not subject to customization as a default standard. However, Talkdesk extends API access to the billing feed for transparency, providing programmatic access to subscription and usage-related data.
