“Manage Seats” is a framework that allows Administrators to attribute Product licenses to specific users within their accounts. For more information, please read our documentation on Managing Seats.
Its purpose is to ensure customers are only able to fully configure their AI products for the amount of licenses purchased.
Any customer who purchased an AI product, must go to “Manage Seats” and define which users can access any given product. Only after this action will these users be allowed to be configured the corresponding product AI flow in AI Launchpad.
Configuring “Manage Seats”
Users who have already configured “Manage Seats” for their product(s), can navigate to AI Launchpad to configure the respective AI flows.
Users configured in “Manage Seats” will automatically be made available for configuration within one AI flow within AI Launchpad. These will be listed as “Licensed” agents, and any agent without a seat attribute in “Manage Seats”will be listed as “Unlicensed” in AI Launchpad.
Only “Licensed” users are eligible in the context of any given product flow.
Configuring Ring Group Flows in AI Launchpad
Note: Ring group level flows must, in this instance, only include licensed users.
Like with Agent-level flows, you will be presented with a list of Licensed ring groups (containing at least one licensed user) and Unlicensed ring groups (featuring no licensed users).
“Access Restricted” definition: Users not licensed via “Manage Seats” but configured in AI Launchpad flows will be considered “Access Restricted”. These users will not be allowed to have access to the product so it will be necessary to change in Manage Seats (switch user licensed, remove the user from seat or buy extra seats following in self-service if more seats are required).
Important Information
- For Talkdesk Customer Experience Analytics (CXA) and CX Sensors, users who have access are configured via Roles and Permissions.
- For both CXA and CX Sensors, the Admin and Supervisor roles have the “View” permission to CXA and CX Sensors by default.
- Any custom roles created, if they require access to either CXA or CX Sensors, must configure access at role level.
