[Preview] Copilot Agentic: Configuring Copilot Agentic

Important Note: This feature is available in Preview for select customers.

 

In order to begin your configuration of Copilot Agentic, you must configure an Agent Orchestration within AI Agent Platform, and then deploy it via AI Launchpad.

Please follow the steps listed below to configure your Copilot Agentic.

Step 1: Create an Agent Orchestrator

Please read our Knowledge Base article for full context on setting up an Agent Orchestration

 

Step 2: Deploy via AI Launchpad

Once the Agent Orchestrator is built, you must activate it for your Copilot users. Head to AI Launchpad: Navigate to the AI Resources tab.

Create the Copilot Agentic Model:

  • Find the Copilot Agentic models, click + Create new.
  • Select Agentic Model as the model type.
  • From the dropdown menu, select the Agent Orchestrator (which you created previously in Step 1).
  • Assign to AI Flow: Add this new Agentic Model to your existing Copilot AI Flow.

 

Step 3: Agent Usage

Once deployed, the feature will appear in the Copilot interface.

  • Switch Modes: Agents will see a button to toggle between standard "Search" and "AI Assist" mode.
  • Interact: Agents can type natural language questions. Copilot will use the orchestrated agents to answer or perform tasks. Note: AI Assist mode is only available during a live customer interaction.
