Required Documentation for True Local Numbers
To provision and use local numbers in China, the following documentation must be provided. Examples/templates of these documents are available at the bottom of the page for download, in PDF format.

Restrictions & Limitations for Calls to Mainland China
When making calls to Mainland China via Talkdesk, the following rules apply:
- Call Duration: Calls shorter than 3 minutes are not permitted.
- Marketing Calls: No unsolicited marketing calls are allowed.
- High-Volume Restrictions: Repeated calls from the same origination number within a rolling hour are restricted.
- Origination Numbers: Calls must not originate from invalid, modified, spoofed, or restricted numbers.
- International Calls: Calls must originate from a true local number or approved international number; masked or non-local numbers may be rejected.
