Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between security domains.
This XML-based protocol uses security tokens to pass end-user information between an Identity Provider (your company’s SAML Single-Sign-On solution of choice, such as Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Identity, etc.) and Talkdesk (the Service Provider).
Admins can enable SAML SSO by selecting Admin > Preferences tab, and SAML as the account’s default Single Sign-on provider.
Configuring SAML SSO requires some technical know-how, so we suggest consulting your IT department to help with the setup.
First, you’ll need to acquire a key from your SAML provider. Then, paste it in the “Enter your SSO Metadata URL” field.
