Account Language

The default language for the account can be customized by the Admins using the Customization tab, accessed through the Admin app:image1.png

 

1. To change the default account language, click the Language dropdown menu and select one of the available languages [1].

2. Click on Save [2]. This setting changes the default language of the Workspace interface.

 Currently, the following languages are available for Talkdesk Workspace users:

  • English (US) default.
  • French (CA).
  • French (FR).
  • German (DE).
  • Italian (IT).
  • Portuguese (PT).
  • Portuguese (BR).
  • Spanish (ES)
  • Dutch (NL)

We do not recommend using browser extensions or plugins like Google Translate to translate the Talkdesk Workspace interface. Using these tools can lead to broken visuals and icons, as the translation of icon names prevents them from rendering correctly. Additionally, it can cause functional issues that interfere with the platform's core functionality, triggers, and the proper translation of content within app iframes. For the best experience, please use the native language settings available in the Customization tab or individual user preferences.

Note: The default language setting may not apply to all applications, as some products do not support localization. However, users can choose their preferred language by overriding the default account setting. For further information on user settings, please refer to the relevant section.
