IP Allowlisting

IP allowlisting enables Administrators to limit the networks and provides an additional level of control, allowing you to specify which IP addresses users must use to log in to Talkdesk. The list is configured at the company level.

The IP allowlisting feature is available for all Talkdesk customers.

Once configured, any user who tries to log in from a computer with an IP address not included in the allowlist, will not be able to log in. If employees are working remotely, they will need to use a VPN before logging in to Talkdesk.

You can set up to 100 IP addresses, and we currently support IP4 for individual IP addresses and CIDR notation for specifying a network block.

Configuring your allowlist of IP addresses

To specify an IP allowlist for your company, please send your IP addresses or ranges to your customer support representative. Please be sure to follow the following format:

  • IPV4 (100.10.148.103)
  • CIDR Notation (10.0.0.0/24)

Notes:

  • IP allowlisting is not available for users that authenticate with SSO.
  • IPv6 is not supported.
