The Australian Communications Alliance has recently finalized the Reducing Scam Calls Industry Code (C661:2020), which has already been put into effect. With this code, new obligations have been imposed on telecom operators in Australia.
In accordance with these new regulations, Australian phone numbers from Caller-IDs that begin with the following prefixes will be blocked:
What do you need to do?
In order to avoid having your calls to Australian numbers blocked, you will need to ensure that the Outbound Caller IDs within your Talkdesk account do not include the above prefixes.
