In a continuous effort to improve our service resiliency, Talkdesk will be conducting maintenance on Studio Flows with "Forward to External Number" on December 1, 2019.
"Forward to External Number" provides the ability to route a call to a phone number outside of your organization. For more information on the Forward to External functionality, please review the Studio Guide.
When will the change happen?
On December 1, 2019, Talkdesk will perform maintenance during the time of 8:00 AM and 8:20 AM GMT. This window was selected based on it being a low traffic time period across the customer base.
Why is maintenance being conducted?
Infrastructure improvements will be made to support scalability in order to manage increased call loads while maintaining expected service levels. Note that no new features are being added at this time.
What can I expect during the maintenance period?
All inbound and outbound calls are expected to work as normal. It is possible that agents may experience a delay on two occasions: while connecting a user to an external number, after answering the call, or while hanging up: if one party hangs up the other will hear a void for a few seconds before the call ends.
What do I need to do?
No action required.
