How to Create a Firewall Rule for Callbar Using Kaspersky Internet Security for Windows

After installing Callbar for Windows, you may need to configure your personal firewall to allow Callbar to access the Internet.

In this article, we will go through the steps on how to set this up using Kaspersky Internet Security. You will need to set Callbar as a Trusted application to run on your machine.

 

Step 1.

Click on the Windows icon [1] in the bottom left corner of your screen, type Kaspersky [2] and then click on the Kaspersky Internet Security option [3].

Step 2.

This will bring up the Kaspersky Internet Security window. Select More Tools [4].

Step 3.

Click on Manage Applications [5] and then on Application Control [6].

Step 4.

On the new screen select Manage Applications [7].

Step 5.

You will now be presented with a list of installed applications on your machine. Callbar[8] is usually located underneath the Low Restricted category.

Right-click Callbar [9], go to Restrictions [10] and left-click Trusted [11].

Step 6.

You should now see that Callbar has moved underneath the Trusted section [12].

Close the Manage Applications window by left-clicking the X [13] in the top-right corner of the window.

Step 7.

Finally, close the Application Control window by left-clicking the X [14] in the top-right corner.

You have now successfully trusted Callbar to run on your machine without any blockage or intrusion from Kaspersky Internet Security.
