Billing Insights API: Entitlement

Talkdesk Partners

Talkdesk Instances can be aggregated into a “parent” Talkdesk Organization.

In such cases, it is possible to get an “Organization” OAuth Client to the Billing Insights API, thus providing the ability to fetch billing related data for all “Instances” under such “Organization.”

Each partner of Talkdesk who owns one or more “Organizations” should leverage one OAuth Client per each “Organization” in Talkdesk.

 

To understand which “Organizations” you, as a Talkdesk Partner, own, please:

  1. Reach out to your assigned Channel Manager or
  2. Send an email to partners@talkdesk.com
    • In the “Subject” field, please copy and past the following: “I need a list of the Talkdesk Organizations I own as a Talkdesk Partner
    • In the “Description” field, please copy and past the following: “I’m requesting a list of the “names” and “IDs” for all Organizations I own as a Talkdesk Partner

 

To request an OAuth Client for each “Organization” your own in Talkdesk, please:

  1. Reach out to your assigned Channel Manager or
  2. Send an email to partners@talkdesk.com
    • In the “Subject” field, please copy and past the following: “I need OAuth Client(s) to the Billing Insights API
    • In the “Description” field, please copy and past the one of the following:
      • I’m requesting an OAuth Client for each Organization I own as a Talkdesk Partner.
      • I’m requesting an OAuth Client for the Organization(s) below, which I own as a Talkdesk Partner:
        1. <name and ID of the organization>
        2. <name and ID of the organization>
        3.  

End Customers

Access to Talkdesk APIs is available for selected PLANS. Click in GETTING STARTED for information on Talkdesk APIs.

Any end customers whose “Organization” is not “Talkdesk” or “Talkdesk Internal,” WILL NOT be able to call the Billing Insights API. That is to say, any customer that has not been part of a direct-sales motion from Talkdesk, and rather was sold to via a reseller-led motion, WILL NOT be able to call the Billing Insights API.

 

End customers that are allowed to and require access to the Billing Insights API as a way to fetch billing related data for their own Talkdesk Account (i.e. instance), should follow the process depicted in Creating a New OAuth Client. A different Token is require for each Talkdesk Account.
