Summary: We are upgrading the Talkdesk email service to enhance reliability and performance. To ensure uninterrupted service, customers using email services must re-authenticate all active email touchpoints before April 30, 2025.
Impacted customers: Customers using Talkdesk’s email services and who have not re-authenticated their touchpoints since November 2024.
Impact:
We're enhancing the Talkdesk email service to provide improved reliability and performance. To support a smooth transition, the original re-authentication deadline has been extended to April 30, 2025. Customers using email channels must re-authenticate all active email touchpoints by this new date to complete the upgrade.
Touchpoints that are not re-authenticated by the deadline will temporarily lose email functionality in the Conversations app, but service will resume immediately upon re-authentication.
Action Required from Admins:
Admins must complete re-authentication by following these steps:
- Navigate to the Admin interface.
- Go to Channels > Email.
- Select the relevant email address.
- Click Edit > Reauthenticate and follow the on-screen instructions.

Important: No action is needed for touchpoints that have already been re-authenticated since November 2024. However, if you're receiving this email, it means one or more of your email touchpoints still require re-authentication.
