If you wish to allow your agents to login to the Callbar using their Salesforce, Okta, Google account or OneLogin credentials please follow these instructions.
Once enabled, agents will still be able to login using their Talkdesk username and password, but a new button is now displayed allowing them to use their SSO credentials instead.
Note: With this feature, new agents added to a Salesforce account using Talkdesk for Salesforce Managed Package are no longer required to create a Talkdesk user name and password in order to access the Callbar.
Logging into the Callbar using SSO
When launching the Callbar for the first time, you will be prompted to type in the domain name:
- Type in your Talkdesk account name and press ‘Next’.
- You will then be prompted to enter your username and password. Simply press the 'Use Single Sign On' button:
- If you are not yet signed in to your default SSO provider application, an authentication window will popup outside the Callbar asking to confirm the login details. Type in your Salesforce, Okta, Google account or OneLogin credentials there:
- The Callbar will then automatically authenticate your credentials.
That’s it! You can now start making and receiving calls using the Callbar. Your account domain is memorized and the next time you login to the Callbar all you have to do is press the 'Use Single Sign On' button.
Note: You can change your domain name at any time by simply clicking the domain name link:
