Troubleshooting Callbar Chrome App issues


If you are experiencing issues with your Callbar Chrome App, please send and email to our support team ( providing a brief description of the issue and including the following information so we may investigate and assist you:

  • Your Operating System (OS) name and version: e.g. OSX El Capitan 10.11.4 (15E65)
  • Your Chrome Browser version: type in chrome://version in your Chrome address bar to display this information (e.g. Version 52.0.2743.82 (64-bit))
  • Your Callbar Chrome App version: click the menu on the top left corner of the Callbar Chrome App to display this information
  • Your Talkdesk Click-to-Call Extension version: type in chrome://extensions in your Chrome address bar to display this information

  • Your account name and ID
  • Your username
  • Your Callbar Chrome App console logs

To collect your Callbar Chrome App console logs, please follow these steps:

  • Type in chrome://inspect#apps in the address bar of Google Chrome

  • Click inspect to open Chrome Developer’s Tools
  • Open the 'Console' tab and tick the 'Preserve log' box:

You can then minimize this page and continue working (please do not close it). Once the problem is experienced again it will be recorded. Collect this log file and attach it to your email when contacting us mentioning the approximate time of the occurrence. To do this:

  • Maximize Chrome Developer’s Tools. Right-click on a blank space inside it and select ‘Save as ’ to save the log to your computer, and then attach it to the email:
