Cannot Play Voicemail Recordings in Zendesk


If you find that you cannot click play to listen to a Voicemail in Zendesk, this is because of a recent enhancement to the security of call recordings at Talkdesk. 

You can still listen to recordings inside Zendesk but you must be logged in to Talkdesk:

  • In a separate browser tab, go to 
  • Log in with your Talkdesk email address and password.
  • Close tab (without logging out)
  • Refresh Zendesk
  • Now when you click to play a voicemail in Zendesk, it will play.

An alternative solution to this is that you can disable Secure Recordings on your account.
