Talkdesk allows you to label contacts and associate tags with them.
A tag is a label that is applied to the contact for identification purposes. For example, you can apply a tag called “vip” to your best customers or tag a list of contacts associated with a marketing campaign. This can be useful for viewing and compiling lists of all partners, leads, qualified leads, unresponsive contacts, etc.
To filter your contacts by a specific tag, select the tag from the drop-down list [1]. The list of contacts will show all the contacts that have that tag.
By default, only 25 contacts are displayed at a time.
If there are more than 25 contacts, you can navigate through them by clicking on the right-arrow or the page number at the bottom [2].
Adding and Removing Contact Tags
To add a new tag (i.e. "hot lead", "prospect", "vip", etc.) to a contact, simply open the contact profile, type the tag name in the box labeled "Add tag" and press Enter.
To remove a tag from the contact, open the contact and click the “x” next to the tag name.
When a CSV list is uploaded, a particular tag is associated with that list so you can access all related contacts.
This can be a powerful tool in increasing team's efficiency when calling contact lists, using our One Click List Dialing feature.
