Note: This feature is only applicable to The Main Talkdesk Web Application and not to Callbar.
At this time, you can only merge duplicate contacts when you are on a call.
When you're speaking with a contact who is in your system but has called from a different phone number, or does not have a phone number associated with the Talkdesk profile, you can merge this new information with their contact information that is already in Talkdesk.
While on the phone, simply do the following:
- Search for the contact that you would like to merge (you can do it from the Contacts section) .
- Open this new contact .
- Click the 'Merge in-progress call' button .
Talkdesk will automatically merge the call that is in progress with the contact you selected.
