Contact Lists and Tags

Talkdesk allows you to label contacts and associate tags with them. A tag is a label that is applied to the contact for identification purposes. For example, you can apply a tag called “vip” to your best customers or tag a list of contacts associated with a marketing campaign. This can be useful for viewing and compiling lists of all partners, leads, qualified leads, unresponsive contacts etc.

To do this, there is a separate dropdown menu. [1]

Just select the tag name that you would like to sort the list by and the result will be a list of all contacts that have that tag.

By default, only 25 contacts are displayed at a time. If you click on the arrows at the bottom of the page, you will see the next 25 contacts [2]. 

Adding and Removing Contact Tags

To add a new tag (i.e. “hot lead”, “prospect”, “vip”, etc.) to a contact, simply open the contact profile and type the tag name in the box labeled “Add tag”.

To remove a tag from the contact, open the contact and click the “x” next to the tag name.

When a CSV list is uploaded, a particular tag is associated with that list so you can access all related contacts.

This can be a powerful tool in increasing team's efficiency when calling contact lists, using our One Click List Dialing feature.
